21st Century Public/Private Partnerships (PPP’s)

Paul Polizzotto, CEO of EcoMedia-CBS (who will be joining us at Globe Forum Dublin) is indicative of an entirely new way of bringing private innovation to addressing public sustainability challenges. Indeed, he was named a ‘Public/Private Visionary” in the 2006 Vanity Fair Green Issue and in 2009, he and EcoMedia-CBS were recipients of the United States Conference of Mayors Excellence in Public/Private Partnerships Award. Impressive. Paul will be speaking during day one of the forum on the session entitled “Getting to Sustainable Solutions: Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.”

EcoMedia-CBS are directly engaged with helping local municipalities move towards sustainability through branding, concrete changes and clever partnership. In 2010, EcoMedia (prior to its acquisition by CBS) undertook a joint project with CBS corporation called; ‘The Green Schools Initiative.’ This innovative initiative rests on four pillars: Strive to be toxics free, use resources sustainably, Create a green, healthy space and teach, learn, engage. To learn more about Paul and EcoMedia-CBS before having the chance to hear from them at Globe Forum Dublin check out this video of Paul speaking about how Public/Private Partnerships can tackle climate change:
